talks:
Conference languages are German and English. Talks are 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion. For the presentations beamers, overhead- and slide projectors are available. Please, inform us what kind of equipment you need. PowerPoint presentations must be compatible to IBM and to PowerPoint2003 (no Apple macintosh).
Depending on the number of submitted talks, some of them can be shifted to posters (after consultation of the authors).

IMPORTANT:
Please, submit your PowerPoint files or slides as early as possible to the technical staff in the preparation room for checking the trouble-free process etc. (for it, the break before your own session starts is definitely too late!)!

posters:
Posters should have A0 format (w/h = 90/120). Posters can be inspected during breaks between talks.

abstracts:
Abstracts of talks and posters should have a maximum length of one page (text) plus additional graphics and will be published in a special issue of the "Wissenschaftliche Mitteilungen des Institutes für Geologie". Please, do not use coloured pictures. The abstract should be submitted electronically (IBM-compatible, email, CD, or disc). Text in Times, 12 cpi, single-spaced; drawings/pictures as jpg. Please, do not use special formatting.
Following the title and author(s) name(s) indicate the institution and addresses (including email).

Fees:

If payment is after July, 7th, than you have to pay an addition of 20,00 € !

Definitive registration:

Please, inform us when something has changed in regard to your preliminary registration (e.g., participation at the conference dinner; titles etc. of talks and posters ...). If you present a talk, it is urgently needed to indicate the needed technical equipment! If you have hitherto submitted a preliminary title, please, send the definitive one. The definitive registration is realized by the payment of the registration fee and must be done until July, 15th. Questions to Olaf Elicki.

Accomodation:

There are several hotels and pensions in the city of Freiberg with different categories as well as a special low-price guest-house (partly twin- and more-bed-rooms). Further accommodation opportunities exist at the periphery of Freiberg (few minutes by car) - free parking is possible on the campus near the lecture halls (see maps under downloads).
The Freiberg Tourist Office reserves a special option for rooms in all categories until July, 15th. Please, book your own accommodation directly via the Tourist Office by mentioning the key-word "FREIBERG2007":
