Publikation in „Neues Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontologie“ Ausführliche Versionen der Arbeiten können in „Neues Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontologie“ publiziert werden. Die fertigen Publikationen sind zu Beginn der Tagung bei der Tagungsleitung einzureichen. Die Manuskripte sollten auf Englisch sein und neben dem englischen Abstract eine spanische bzw. portugiesische Kurzfassung enthalten. Kleinere Änderungen als Folge von Diskussionen auf der Tagung werden noch bis zum 31.05.2003 akzeptiert. Die Manuskripte werden begutachtet. Las manuscritos deberán ser escritas en inglés incluyendo, aparte de un abstract inglés, un resúmen en español o portugués. On the occasion of the 18th conference of Latinamerican geoscience at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, april 3rd - 5th, 2003, a special exibition Beautiful minerals from Latinamerica will be presented in the Halls of the Geoscientific collections in the A.-G.-WERNER-Building, Brennhausgasse 14 in Freiberg. The opening of the exibition will take place in combination with the Icebreaker party of the conference on april 2nd, 2003, at 20.00h. The Geoscientific collections exist since the foundation of the Bergakademie in 1765. Today, the collections comprise of six parts (mineralogy, petrology, mineral deposits in the Werner Building; paleontology and stratigraphy in the Humboldt-Building; coal geology at the Reiche Zeche).
